When I was 13...

When I was 13...I was an eighth grader at Coventry Middle School. At the time I was extremely shy and awkward, as most of us were at that age. I had a small group of friends that were essential to my survival of the sometimes challenging middle school years. My family was also a huge part of my life then, as they still are today, supporting me in every way, shape and form. I played the saxophone in the concert and jazz bands. Your typical "band geek", but I loved being a part of that group and part of me wishes I had stuck with it in high school. I played softball and basketball in the town leagues, even though I wasn't the best player on either team, that didn't matter, I just enjoyed getting out there. My musical tastes have changed slightly since that time, as I no longer listen to N'SYNC or Hanson everyday, but I will admit to currently having both on my Ipod! For the most part, I am the same person that I was then, just older, taller and maybe a little wiser.
